Live-in Support Worker Opportunity

Clover Care Group is seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Live-in Support Worker to support a 23-year-old woman in her own home in Dereham.

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide person-centred support to a young woman living with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Tourette syndrome, helping her to live independently while promoting her wellbeing, confidence, and quality of life.

The successful candidate will work on a live-in rota (rota pattern to be discussed during the recruitment process). Weekly pay and a food allowance are provided.

The Role

As a Live-in Support Worker, you will provide practical, emotional, and social support, helping to create a calm, structured, and reassuring environment while encouraging independence and choice.

Key Responsibilities

Provide person-centred support tailored to the individual's needs and preferences.

Assist with daily living activities while promoting independence.

Offer reassurance and emotional support during periods of anxiety or distress.

Encourage participation in hobbies, interests, and community activities.

Support with meal preparation, household tasks, and maintaining a comfortable home environment.

Assist with appointments and community access where required.

Build a positive, trusting relationship through consistency, patience, and understanding.

Maintain accurate daily records and report any concerns appropriately.

Work collaboratively with family members and healthcare professionals.

A full UK driving licence is desirable.

About the Individual

You will be supporting a young woman who:

Is 23 years old.

Lives with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).

Has Tourette syndrome.

Benefits from a calm, patient, and understanding approach.

Thrives with consistency, routine, and reassurance.

Wishes to continue living as independently as possible within her own home.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

Compassionate, patient, and empathetic.

Calm, reliable, and able to remain composed in different situations.

Respectful of an individual's choices, privacy, and independence.

A confident communicator with a positive attitude.

Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in a care or support role.

Experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions, neurodiverse conditions, or complex emotional needs is desirable.

A positive and person-centred approach to support.

A full UK driving licence is desirable.

The right to work in the UK.

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer sponsorship.
