The Role
As
Site Agent, you'll be responsible for the safe, efficient, and commercially successful delivery of a significant section of works, ensuring projects are completed to programme, budget, and the highest quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking overall responsibility for a major package of works
- Leading Senior Engineers, Section Engineers, and site delivery teams
- Managing subcontractors and specialist supply chain partners
- Driving short-term planning and maintaining programme performance
- Acting as the primary point of contact for the client and attending progress meetings
- Promoting and maintaining exemplary health & safety standards across site
- Reviewing and approving RAMS
- Working closely with commercial teams on cost reporting, forecasting, and budget control
- Identifying project risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies
- Ensuring technical compliance and quality across reinforced concrete and marine construction activities

About You
We're looking for an accomplished
Site Agent with a proven background in heavy civil engineering projects.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience delivering major civil engineering schemes in a Site Agent position
- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete construction
- Marine or large infrastructure project experience (desirable)
- A successful track record of leading site teams and subcontractors
- Good commercial awareness with experience working under NEC contracts
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Eligibility to obtain SC Security Clearance
You'll be a confident decision-maker who thrives in a fast-paced project environment and enjoys taking accountability for successful delivery.
