Sewing Machinist

Corby
12.71 per hour
Monday - Thursday, 7:00am - 5:00pm (4-day working week)
Immediate Start Temporary

Due to continued growth and expansion, a globally recognised clothing brand is seeking an experienced Sewing Machinist to join their Head Office production team in Corby.

This is an excellent opportunity to become a key part of a supportive and fast-paced environment, working closely with the Production Manager and wider team to deliver high-quality garments

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret garment patterns accurately
• Operate Overlocker and Flatbed sewing machines
• Ensure all products meet strict quality standards
• Work collaboratively to achieve daily production targets
• Carry out basic machine maintenance and report any faults or material issues

About You

• Proven experience as a Sewing Machinist, Seamstress, or Tailor
• Strong working knowledge of Overlocker and Flatbed machines
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently towards targets within a team environment

Full one-to-one training will be provided to help you quickly become familiar with company processes and procedures.

We are looking for a Sewing Machinist with a solid understanding of garment construction and the operation of industrial sewing machines. You will receive one-to-one support to become fully familiar with our processes and procedures.
