We are currently seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our catering team. This role plays a vital part in helping us provide healthy and nutritious meals to our students in a safe and welcoming environment.
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation and serving of meals, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, washing up, and assisting the cook and wider catering team. You will be expected to follow food hygiene and safety procedures at all times.
Previous experience in a kitchen or catering role is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
The organisation is a term-time only position, Monday – Friday, 10:00am – 3:30pm.
Salary will be an hourly rate on £15and will be dependent on experience and qualifications.

This role is ‘exempt’ from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide details of all unspent convictions and those that would not be filtered, prior to the date of the interview.
