Onshore Logistics Manager required for a Major Offshore Wind developer in the UK.
Responsibilities:
Report to the Senior Offshore Site Manager on a day-to-day basis.
Provide administrative support for the Offshore Construction Base (OCB).
Liaise with the Port regarding site maintenance activities.
Manage the purchase and receipt of goods and services through the Port.
Control goods in/out processes using QR code scanning systems.
Maintain full traceability of parts and equipment throughout the wind farm.
Coordinate vessel port calls and associated logistics activities.
Arrange port plant and equipment required for vessel operations.
Coordinate movement of equipment between storage areas and quayside.
Coordinate goods movements in line with vessel schedules and helicopter flights.
Maintain housekeeping standards across storage areas, containers and facilities.
Support helicopter transfer logistics and personnel movements.
Issue joining instructions and create personnel profiles.
Arrange accommodation, transport, hire cars and personal effects transfers.
Maintain and update goods tracking databases.
Label, scan and track materials through to installation or use.
Coordinate deliveries, loadouts, backloads and port interfaces.
Marshal personnel during logistics operations.
Provide administrative support to the Senior Offshore Site Manager, General Site Manager and Package Managers.
Ensure compliance with HSE, security, data protection and company procedures.
Deliver davit crane operator training (optional).
Undertake LOLER and PPE inspections and recertifications (optional).
Requirements
Strong administration and organisational skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
Experience using databases and tracking systems.
Strong report writing capability.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Compliance with HSE, security and GDPR requirements.
Understanding of corporate IT security practices.
Prior experience within a UK port, offshore wind, marine logistics or similar environment.
Understanding of UK maritime and port procedures, including ISPS Code awareness.
Ability and willingness to travel between ports, heliports, accommodation and operational sites.
Full compliance with UK road traffic legislation and company driving policies.
Experience handling personnel, travel and logistics data in line with GDPR requirements.
Ability to coordinate multiple logistics activities simultaneously.
Experience managing goods movements, deliveries and inventory tracking
