Our client is seeking an ambitious, self-motivated Sales Lead Generator to identify and develop new business opportunities across South Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. This is a remote, field-based role offering the flexibility to manage your own diary while spending the majority of your time visiting prospective customers, building relationships and generating qualified business leads.
As a Sales Lead Generator, you will be responsible for:
* Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities.
* Visit prospective commercial customers to introduce the company's services.
* Build relationships with business owners, purchasing managers and decision-makers.
* Generate qualified leads and appointments for the sales team.
* Conduct face-to-face visits, networking and cold calling activities.
* Maintain an organised pipeline of prospective customers.
* Accurately record customer interactions and sales activity.
* Represent the business professionally at all times.
* Work towards agreed lead generation and appointment targets.
The ideal candidate will be:
* Previous experience in sales, lead generation or business development.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Highly motivated and able to work independently.
* Experience within industrial, manufacturing, construction, engineering, recycling or waste management sectors is highly desirable
* Confident approaching new businesses.
* B2B sales experience.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Own reliable vehicle.
* Willingness to travel throughout South Yorkshire and surrounding counties
