Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Supply Desk is currently seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher to join a specialist educational setting in Hemel Hempstead from September 2026.
This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for a teacher with experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and a range of additional learning needs. Applications are welcomed from qualified teachers (QTS) and experienced unqualified teachers who are committed to helping every pupil achieve their full potential within a supportive and inclusive environment.
About the Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs.
Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil can thrive.
Adapt teaching methods and learning resources to support a range of learning abilities and communication needs.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents/carers and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Monitor, assess and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback and celebrating achievements.
Support pupils' social, emotional and personal development, encouraging confidence, independence and resilience.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and work closely with colleagues to promote high-quality teaching and learning.

Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable; experienced unqualified teachers will also be considered.
Experience working with pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and additional learning needs is highly desirable.
A sound understanding of effective SEND teaching strategies.
The ability to adapt lessons to meet a range of learning needs and abilities.
A positive, patient and resilient approach.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
