Job Title: Production / General Operative (Pharmaceuticals)
Location: Swindon (Kingfisher Drive)
Position Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Contract
Pay Rate: £13.86/hr + 22% Shift Allowance
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, alternating Early (07:00 - 15:00) and Late (15:00 - 22:45) shifts.
Overtime: Readily available on weekdays and weekends (Saturday/Sunday).

As a General Operative, your primary focus will be supporting our aseptic and non-aseptic liquid filling and packaging lines. This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with an eagle eye for detail, a methodical mindset, and a desire to build a career in the pharmaceutical sector.
Key Responsibilities
Cleanroom Compliance: Maintain cleanroom integrity by strictly adhering to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cleaning, sanitation, and correct gowning protocol.
Licensing & Qualification: Complete targeted training to achieve and maintain a "Bronze License Badge" for Grade C/D production area access (requalifying every 2 years).
Material Handling & Operation: Safely transfer production components into classified cleanroom spaces; assist with loading the Part Washer and Autoclave equipment once trained.
Line Maintenance: Execute end-of-run line clearances, product labeling, and final retail packaging.
Quality & Data Integrity: Conduct crucial in-process weight checks and accurately fill out regulatory paperwork and site logbooks.
Defect Escalation: Actively spot and communicate any processing or material non-conformances immediately to Area Leaders or Quality Assurance representatives.
What We Are Looking For
Education: GCSE Level (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics (Grade C/4 or above), with strong basic numeracy and the ability to interpret complex written work instructions.
Experience: Prior experience working within a regulated environment is preferred (e.g., Pharmaceuticals, Food Manufacturing, Automotive, Cosmetics, or general Precision Engineering).
Repetitive Concentration: An ability to maintain strict focus and concentration while executing precise, repetitive production routines.
Physical Fitness: Comfortable with a role that requires standing for sustained periods of time and lifting up to 15kg with reasonable adjustments.
The Patient-First Mindset: A strong methodical approach to everyday tasks, keeping health, safety, and strict quality control at the forefront of your work.
Strict Cleanroom (GMP) Requirements
Because this facility manufactures highly sensitive pharmaceutical products, the following items and conditions are strictly prohibited inside the production zones and must be agreed to prior to employment:
No Cosmetics: Makeup, fake tan, tinted moisturizers, and temporary body art (e.g., henna) cannot be worn or brought into the area.
No Nail Enhancements: Nail varnish, false nails (gels, acrylics, tips), and eyelash extensions/false eyelashes are prohibited.
No Jewelry: All jewelry, studs, earrings, body piercings, watches, and chains must be removed before entering (only a single, plain metal wedding band is permitted).
Skin Health: Candidates must be free from active skin infections, open lesions, or cuts/grazes.
