Job Title: EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant

Start Date: September

Pay: £16.90 per hour

Contract: Temp to perm

We are currently recruiting for a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Wythenshawe. This is a full time temporary to permanent opportunity working within the Early Years Foundation Stage, supporting children during a crucial stage of their development.

This role is ideal for an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant who is passionate about early years education and creating engaging learning experiences. A Level 3 Teaching Assistant EYFS qualification is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS learning activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.

Working with individual pupils and small groups to support learning and development.

Promoting children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development through structured play and classroom activities.

Supporting the development of early literacy, numeracy and communication skills.

Assisting with observations and contributing to children's learning journeys where required.

Encouraging positive behaviour and helping to create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents to support each child's progress.

We are looking for someone who has:

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant EYFS qualification (essential).

Previous experience working within an EYFS setting in a primary school or nursery.

A sound understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.

The ability to work effectively as part of a team while using initiative when required.
