Freelance Senior Project Manager - Manchester

Major City Centre Refurbishment Project

PSR Solutions is working with a leading Tier 1 contractor to recruit an experienced Freelance Senior Project Manager for a flagship city centre redevelopment project in Manchester.

This is a high-profile scheme with an overall value of approximately £400m, currently in the fit-out and finishing phase, with around £90m of works remaining. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving the project through to completion while maintaining strong client relationships and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead project delivery through the final fit-out and completion stages

Manage site teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders

Maintain excellent client relationships and act as the main point of contact

Drive programme, quality, and commercial objectives

Ensure health & safety and operational standards are maintained throughout

Requirements:

Proven experience operating at Senior Project Manager level

Strong track record delivering large-scale construction projects for major contractors

Experience managing fit-out, finishing, and handover phases

Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills

Ability to lead teams and maintain programme momentum on complex projects
