Full-Time Caretaker / Cleaner - Greenwich

Location: Greenwich

Hours: Full-Time, 5 Days per Week

We are seeking an experienced, reliable, and hardworking Caretaker / Cleaner to join our friendly team at a welcoming school in Greenwich. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and enjoys working in a positive educational environment.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, a strong knowledge of caretaking and cleaning responsibilities, and a proactive approach to ensuring the school remains safe, clean, and well-presented. A relevant degree or qualification is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out daily cleaning duties to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.

Undertake general caretaking tasks, including basic maintenance and minor repairs.

Ensure the security of the school premises, including opening and locking the site where required.

Monitor and report maintenance issues, health and safety concerns, and equipment faults.

Assist with setting up rooms and facilities for school activities and events.

Maintain outdoor areas to a high standard.

Adhere to all health and safety policies and safeguarding procedures.What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a caretaker and/or cleaning role.

Strong practical knowledge of building maintenance, cleaning standards, and health & safety.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

A dependable, flexible, and proactive attitude.
