Business Intelligence tooling Developer

I am currently working with a market leading organisation in the manufacturing industry who are looking for a business intelligence tooling Developer to join their team. This role sits within the organisations Data and Insights team with the aim of provide accurate, actionableinsights to stakeholders and teams across the business. There is currently an increased focus into this area of the business as they look to incorporate all the data used not only in the UK, but also around the world. Due to this they are looking to grow theirteam and work on developing data visualisations using business intelligence tooling.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for some of the following areas
- Offer business intelligence tooling dashboard support including development and maintenance of the existing reporting suite and the creation of new supports
- Gather business requirements from senior stakeholders and translate these into actionable insights
- Development of data structures and calculations
- Support the Data and Insight team
The organisation is a salaried role paying up to £66,000 per year depending on experience. It is a hybrid opportunity with 2 days working from home and the remaining days working from the organisations Surrey office alongside the other members of the team. To be successful in this role you will have
- Strong SQL skills including querying, data modelling and development
- business intelligence tooling skills - developing dashboards, including understanding of DAX
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working within a project delivery team would be beneficial
