The Role

As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
• Lead targeted interventions to accelerate student progress
• Support teaching and learning across a range of year groups and subjects
• Work closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality educational provision
• Support students with additional learning needs, including SEND
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school

The Ideal Candidate

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• Previous experience working within a primary or secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach
• A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
