Warehouse Operative!

Location: Tadley, RG26 (you must be able to drive due to the location of this client)

Contract Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: 13.35 per hour

Are you ready to dive into an exciting opportunity in the heart of the Transport & Logistics industry? We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our vibrant team on a temporary basis, with an immediate start! This role will initially run until the end of September, with the potential for extension based on business needs and workload.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
• Friday: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm
• Lunch: 30-minute unpaid break
• Total Paid Hours: 39.5 per week
• No Weekend Work
• Overtime Available
• Pay Rate: 13.35 per hour

About the Role:
We are on the lookout for a reliable, hardworking individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. As part of a small but busy warehouse team, you will play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly during our peak summer period.

What We're Looking For:

• Punctuality and strong attendance record are essential!
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are crucial.
• Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but we value a strong work ethic and eagerness to grow!

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing products accurately
• Hand wrapping and robot wrapping pallets
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Stock handling and general warehouse duties
• Supporting overall warehouse operations for maximum efficiency
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Following all Health & Safety procedures

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential
• FLT Counterbalance licence is advantageous but not required
• Must be reliable, hardworking, and a team player
• Willingness to learn and adapt quickly
• Own transport is essential due to location

Additional Information:

• Full training will be provided upon starting!
• We primarily handle lightweight products, though some items are larger. Larger items will always be managed as a two-person operation.
• While a Counterbalance FLT licence would be beneficial, minimal forklift driving is required since we have qualified FLT drivers in our team.
