Class Teacher - Inspire, Challenge and Achieve

An ambitious primary school in Lambeth is looking to recruit a talented Class Teacher to join its Upper Key Stage 2 team from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Class Teacher who is committed to raising standards while creating a positive and engaging learning environment. The school has a strong reputation for academic achievement, inclusive practice and staff development, with collaborative planning and high-quality CPD embedded across the school.

The successful Class Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 5 class, supporting pupils as they prepare for the demands of their final year of primary education.

The Role

As a Class Teacher, you will:

Deliver ambitious, well-structured lessons across the primary curriculum

Challenge pupils through engaging and differentiated teaching

Foster resilience, independence and a love of learning

Track progress using formative and summative assessment

Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure excellent outcomes

The Ideal Candidate

The school is seeking a Class Teacher who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Has recent experience teaching in a UK primary school

Demonstrates excellent classroom and behaviour management

Has high expectations for pupil progress and attainment

Is reflective, organised and committed to continuous professional developmentApplications are welcomed from experienced teachers and strong Early Career Teachers.
