Class Teacher

A small and friendly, village‑based, one-form entry primary school, in North Somerset, is looking for a Class Teacher. The school offer a close‑knit atmosphere and a strong sense of community, the school combines modern classrooms with generous outdoor spaces, including fields, play areas and nature zones that support active, exploratory learning. The school maintains a consistently positive Ofsted record, recognised for its nurturing ethos, inclusive culture and commitment to helping children grow in confidence, curiosity and independence.

About the Class Teacher role:

* Contract: Full time until December 2026

* Location: Clevedon, North Somerset

* Salary: £32,916 - £45,352 FTE

* Start: September or sooner by agreement

* Key Stage: 2 - looking to be specifically year 3, but this is subject to change

What you'll be doing as a Class Teacher:

* Creating a warm, inclusive and engaging Key Stage 2 classroom

* Delivering high‑quality, creative lessons that inspire curiosity and confidence

* Using effective behaviour strategies appropriate for early primary learners

* Working closely with colleagues across the Trust to share ideas and best practice

* Building strong relationships with pupils, families and the wider school community

What you'll need as a Class Teacher:

* Qualified Teacher Status (UK QTS or equivalent)

* Experience teaching KS2

* A passion for nurturing young learners and helping them thrive

* Strong communication and classroom‑management skills

* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
