A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Site Engineer to join one of Fawkes & Reece's clients, a leading house building construction company, on a long-term residential project near Bridgwater. This Site Engineer role offers a strong day rate, weekly pay, and the chance to work on a large-scale new housing development.

About the role of Site Engineer
As a Site Engineer, you will be supporting the delivery of groundworks on a new housing project, taking responsibility for setting out, quality assurance, and coordination of subcontractors on site. This is a long-term temporary role, expected to run for approximately 12-18 months, with an immediate start available.

Responsibilities for Site Engineer
Carrying out accurate setting out using GPS, Total Station, and levelling equipment
Supervising subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered to programme
Interpreting and working from technical drawings and specifications
Maintaining quality control and keeping accurate site records

Requirements for Site Engineer
3+ years' experience working as a Site Engineer on groundworks and residential projects
Strong setting out experience with relevant surveying equipment
CSCS card and relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree)
Good understanding of health & safety and site procedures

What we offer for Site Engineer
300 - 320 per day
Weekly pay
12-18 month contract
