A welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest is looking for a KS1 Teaching Assistant to join their team for the full academic year. Working Monday to Friday, you'll support children across Key Stage 1, providing general classroom assistance alongside dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with mild SEN.

Supporting teaching and learning across KS1 classrooms
Providing 1:1 support for pupils with mild SEN
Assisting with small group activities and classroom organisation
Encouraging pupils' confidence, independence and engagement
Working closely with teachers to help children achieve their learning goals

Has experience working with children or is a graduate keen to enter education
Is patient, enthusiastic and approachable
Builds positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
Is committed to helping every child succeed

Full-time role until July 2027
92- 115 per day depending on experience
