Are you a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a strong background in KS2?

TeacherActive is working in partnership with a welcoming 2-form primary school in South Birmingham to recruit for a Level 3 TA to support in their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) department on a maternity cover basis.

About the Role:

Working full-time Monday to Friday (8:30am – 3:30pm)

Supporting pupils within KS2, delivering small group interventions and 1:1 where needed

Implementing and supporting Read Write Inc. phonics delivery – RWI training is essential

Working alongside class teachers to deliver engaging, inclusive learning

Supporting children with additional needs – experience with SEND is desirable but not essential

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

Proven experience in an Primary setting, ideally in a primary school

Read Write Inc. training and the ability to deliver phonics sessions effectively

A nurturing, flexible and proactive approach to learning support

Excellent communication skills and a commitment to the school's ethos and values
