Class 2 Driver – Immediate Start Available

We are recruiting an experienced Class 2 Driver in Coventry (CV8) for ongoing, full-time general haulage work.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Class 2 Driver looking for long-term, consistent work with a well-established transport company. As a Class 2 Driver, you will complete general haulage deliveries to commercial customers, working Monday to Friday with regular start times and reliable weekly hours.

This Class 2 Driver role offers clean, organised work and is ideal for an experienced Class 2 Driver looking to join a professional and supportive transport operation.

Key Responsibilities – Class 2 Driver

Drive a Class 2 (Cat C) vehicle on scheduled delivery routes

*

Complete general haulage deliveries to commercial customers

*

Carry out daily vehicle checks and defect reporting

*

Complete delivery paperwork accurately

*

Ensure goods are delivered safely and on time

*

Follow driver hours, WTD, and road safety regulations

*

Maintain excellent communication with the transport team

Requirements – Class 2 Driver

*

Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence

*

Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

*

Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred

*

Good understanding of driver hours and transport legislation

*

Maximum of 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)

*

Reliable, professional, and safety-focused
