Job Title: SC Cleared Site Coordination Installation Design Authority
Location: Portsmouth
Duration: 12 months (0 hour contract as and when required)

Must be willing and eligible to go through the SC Clearance process

Our client, a reputable organisation in the defence sector, is seeking a dedicated Site Coordination Installation Design Authority to join their team in Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in MOD ICT standards and security to contribute to high-profile projects.

What you'll be doing:
Ensuring compliance with MOD Installation Standards, policies, and governance related to ICT infrastructure.
Proactively managing physical and environmental aspects of MOD ICT installations.
Collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality service and maintain standards.
Applying in-depth knowledge of JSP453, JSP440, and security standards such as SDIP27, 28 & 29.
Assessing physical security risks and implementing appropriate controls.
Supporting the design and installation of ICT equipment rooms, data centres, and network infrastructure.
Ensuring all work aligns with MOD policies, security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001), and TEMPEST principles.
Maintaining documentation and overseeing the ECR process for project compliance.

What you'll bring:
CIDA qualification or the ability to successfully complete the MOD Installation Design Course.
Strong understanding of MOD standards, including JSP453, JSP440, and security protocols.
Experience with ICT infrastructure, physical security, and environmental controls.
Knowledge of protective security controls and relevant industry frameworks.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
A proactive approach with a commitment to delivering high standards of quality and security.
