Join Our Team as a Quality Improvement Lead!

Our client, a leading organisation in the engineering sector, is on the lookout for a dedicated Quality Improvement Lead to join their Non-conformance Management team in Lincoln. This is a fixed-term, full-time position for 12 months, offering an hourly rate between 30.00 and 40.00.

Your Mission:
As the Quality Improvement Lead, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality culture within the Small Gas Turbine (SGT) business. Your responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating Problem Solving: Lead and coach teams in effective problem-solving and root cause analysis.
• Process Improvement: Enhance tools and processes for better non-conformance management.
• Training & Development: Conduct training sessions on problem-solving techniques and tools.
• Governance & Guidance: Provide essential guidance and governance for non-conformance management.
• Collaboration: Work closely with functional leads to foster a culture of quality excellence throughout the organisation.

You will be instrumental in achieving non-conformance cost (NCC) targets and KPIs, ensuring that all areas are aligned and working toward common goals.

Essential Skills:

• A proactive and adaptable mindset, with a knack for working independently.

Desirable Skills:

• Background in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with quality management systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Essential: Graduate-calibre candidate with a solid foundation in problem-solving and investigation techniques.
• Experience facilitating workshops and training sessions.
• Proficiency in data interpretation and metrics.

Desirable:

• Experience in proposing and implementing quality solutions.
• Familiarity with non-conformance management processes and structured improvement projects.
• Knowledge of data tools like Tableau and non-conformance software.
