Team/Function Overview
Finance Technology Services is building a sophisticated next generation finance solution. The London team is working on creation of API-based finance platform using innovative technologies and techniques. The volume and variety of finance data involved in these Finance and Risk Functions results in one of most challenging and appropriate use cases for Data lineage, DQ, Profiling, big data technologies and cloud platform usage.

Role/Position Overview
We are looking to bring in a Senior enterprise data integration platform Metadata Developer with sufficient enterprise data integration platform (enterprise data integration platform) knowledge to work on one of the large industry wide transformation Product in the organisation to move into Single ledger solution for all the organisation financial products. In Global Strategic Ledger team under Finance Technology, to help the implementation of data capabilities under operational journal platform and next generation Business Rules platform using latest innovative enterprise data integration platform technologies. The Candidate is required to possess relevant design and development experience in the Tools and technologies on ETL programming. Person should be a strong team player. Exposure to Finance OR Risk Functions on the Retail Banking products or Wholesale/Investment banking is preferred. This is a significant opportunity for an experienced developer with experience in modern enterprise data integration platform platforms to move into a role working with a variety of development teams, including close collaboration with an on-site finance team.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience in development of solutions/platforms for financial markets environment. It is expected that you will have superior technical knowledge of current programming languages, technologies and other leading edge development tools.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

o Develop Datalineage, DQS, Profiling solution for SL accounting platform involving enterprise data integration platform/DQS/enterprise data integration platform technologies.
o Making complex technical and design decisions for enterprise data integration platform projects.
o Utilize in-depth knowledge and skills across multiple Applications Development areas to provide technical oversight across systems and applications.
o Requirement analysis including interaction with Business Users.
o Perform Unit Testing, System Testing for all applications developed / enhancements and ensure that all critical and high-severity bugs are addressed.
o Engage in end-to-end system design and development processes.
o Ensure that application development and enhancement is in line with the organisation’s Coding Standards.
o Partners with multiple Technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; identifies and defines necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements.
o Solves / works a variety of high impact, high-profile problems / projects with considerable business impact through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.
o Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of applications programming.
o Develops standards for coding, testing, debugging and implementation.
o Providing expertise in technical analysis and solving technical issues during project delivery.
o Responsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Must Have Skills / Work Experience

o Experience as senior level in enterprise data integration platform & enterprise data integration platform Applications Development role.
o Experience in Datalineage and data controls.
o Experience on starting the front-end buildout from scratch by coordinating across multiple business and technology groups.
o Experience building complex single-page applications using enterprise data integration platform/distributed data-processing platform/distributed data-processing platform/event-streaming and messaging platform/enterprise database platform and modern MOM technologies.
o Experienced with Linux/Unix platform.
o Experience in SCMs like version-control platform; and tools like delivery collaboration platform.
o Familiar with the financial services industry and/or regulatory environments.
o Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication.
o Working experience on one of the BI Tool like, business intelligence platform.
o Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
