Job Title: Site Engineer
Location: Colchester
Rate: £(Apply online only)/Day - Outside IR35 - Ltd company is an option
Duration: 6 months

Site Engineer required for highways works in Colchester!

Are you a Site Engineer wanting an outside IR35 contract?

You will be working predominantly over day shifts, covering all aspects of highways site engineering and setting-out. This includes infrastructure, roads and sewers, drainage, earthworks, kerbing and reinforced concrete works.

As Site Engineer you will be tasked with:

Liaising with the project team to ensure the project is delivered to a high quality and on time
Offering guidance and direction to more junior members of the team
Setting out of roads, earthworks, sewers and reinforced concrete structures
Scanning for services and using CAT and Genny to locate underground utilities
Keeping daily records of site activities

You will also hold:

Knowledge and experience of Highways standards and procedures
Experience across infrastructure, roads and sewers projects
Strong setting-out experience
Reinforced concrete experience
Competency in scanning for services (CAT and Genny)
Knowledge and experience of high-speed road projects and setting out engineering
Experience working for a major highways contractor
Experience with road works, drainage works & 278 works
SMSTS - desirable
