FLT Warehouse Operative

Ideal Recruit are looking for an organised and reliable FLT Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse team.

This is a hands-on role involving the day-to-day operation of a busy warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing customer orders, operating a forklift, loading and unloading vehicles and containers, and ensuring the warehouse remains safe, clean and well organised.

Pay and shift:

09:00-17:00

£14.95 per hour

Key Responsibilities

Driving a forklift safely and efficiently.
Preparing and picking daily customer orders.
Printing and processing daily order paperwork.
Packing customer orders securely onto pallets.
Loading artic wagons.
Unloading 40ft High Cube (40HC) containers via a loading ramp.
Assisting with general loading and unloading duties.
Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse.
Following all health and safety procedures.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a valid forklift truck (FLT) licence (preferred).
Have previous warehouse experience.
Be organised with excellent attention to detail.
Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Communicate effectively and work well as part of a team.
Have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Be reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards.
