General Labourer 

Connect Grp UK Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of our client at the Royal University Hospital in Orpington. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on labourer with experience in general labouring within the construction industry, particularly with a background in working for main contractors. The successful candidate will play a key role supporting ongoing carpentry projects and ensuring a smooth workflow on site.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a General Labourer within the construction sector, ideally with experience working alongside carpenters or in carpentry-related projects.

Background working with main contractors is preferred.

Reliable and physically fit, capable of handling manual labour tasks on site.

Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to construction sites in the UK.

Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

CSCS card

Responsibilities:

Assisting carpenters and other trades by providing labouring support on site.

Loading and unloading construction materials and tools as required.

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by clearing debris and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

Assisting with the preparation and Organisation of site resources and equipment.

Supporting the overall progress of projects by completing allocated tasks efficiently and effectively
