A friendly and well-established primary school in Wickford is seeking an engaging Year 5 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a two-term fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

The Role

As the Year 5 Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.

Foster a positive classroom environment where every child feels supported to achieve their best.

Monitor pupil progress and provide effective feedback to support learning.

Work closely with colleagues, parents and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.

Contribute to the wider life of the school and promote a love of learning.We're Looking For Someone Who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Has experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.

Creates an inclusive and motivating learning environment.

Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
