Location: Middlesbrough & surrounding areas

Pay Rate: £25.00 per hour (CIS)

Hours: 38 hours per week (Monday - Friday)

Search Consultancy is looking for a skilled and dedicated Fire Stopper for a long-term position in Middlesbrough. We are partnering with an established contractor who values quality, precision, and compliant installations.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Working on a well-managed project in Middlesbrough, you will be responsible for installing life-saving passive fire protection measures including:

Bat & Mastic: High-spec installations and penetration sealing to strict manufacturer-tested details.

Fire Curtains: Installing passive fire barriers and curtains within ceiling voids and structural openings.

Fire Light Boarding: Measuring, cutting, and fitting fire-rated boards to structural steels and partitions.

Compliance & Precision: Ensuring 100% compliance with build specifications, understanding that your work directly impacts life safety.

What We're Looking For

Blue CSCS Card (Skilled Worker): This is the minimum requirement for this role.

Asbestos Awareness: A valid, in-date certificate is mandatory before starting on site.

Technical Expertise: Proven experience in the application and installation of batt, mastic, curtains, and boarding.

Pride in Work: You understand that fire stopping saves lives and you don't cut corners.

Right to Work: Must have a valid right to work in the UK.
