We're working with a bit hitter in the renewable energy industry & they're seeking a Solar Design Engineer to join their Manchester team. The company specialises in commercial and industrial rooftop solar, with strong financial backing and ambitious growth plans.

Role responsibilities:

Develop system and single-line diagrams (SLDs) for rooftop commercial solar projects.
Work closely with operations and delivery teams to ensure designs are practical and efficient.
Support project planning and execution, including technical documentation and design reports.
Liaise with internal teams to ensure compliance with DNO and regulatory standards.
Use design platforms including SolarEdge, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
Support system commissioning and digital setup.
Take ownership of projects with the opportunity to progress into Senior or Lead Designer roles.
