We are looking to recruit a Power Systems Studies Engineer to support various onshore and offshore projects for our client, a leading oil & gas design and engineering contractor based at their offices in Surrey.

Candidates must have strong power systems studies experience within the oil & gas sector and knowledge of ETAP software is essential.

The projects include local power generation, and renewable power, including BESS or grid connections at voltages up to 220kV.

Studies include equipment sizing, load flow, short circuit, dynamic motor starting, harmonic studies, arc flash, transient stability, and protection co-ordination.

Tasks will include running power system studies, and overseeing third party vendors providing power system studies for projects including EMT software.

Job Details:

Contract role - duration c. 12 months.

Rate: £72 - £78p/h ( co), role expected to fall outside of IR35

Working hours: 40 hrs per week.

Location: Surrey - hybrid working for up to 2 days may be possible

Start date: ASAP
