AI Technical Delivery Lead

Contract: 6 Months

Day Rate: 650- 722.50 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: UK (Hybrid)

Damia Group is partnering with a global technology and digital transformation consultancy that delivers complex IT, cloud, data, and AI solutions for some of the world's largest enterprises. They are seeking an experienced AI Technical Delivery Lead to drive the successful delivery of a strategic Agentic AI programme.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role, ideal for someone who can bridge business and engineering teams while ensuring AI initiatives are delivered at pace. This is not a traditional Programme Manager position, the successful candidate will bring deep technical expertise alongside strong delivery governance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of a large-scale Agentic AI programme, ensuring sprint-by-sprint execution and successful outcomes.
• Work closely with senior technical stakeholders and engineering leadership to align priorities and remove delivery blockers.
• Provide technical leadership across AI solution delivery, ensuring best practice throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Drive delivery governance, reporting, risk management, and technical decision-making.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
• Act as the technical SME, providing guidance on architecture, AI technologies, and cloud platforms.

Required Experience

• Proven experience leading the delivery of enterprise-scale AI or Agentic AI programmes.
• Strong technical knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks and modern AI delivery practices.
• Hands-on expertise across one or more major hyperscale cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong understanding of AI architecture, cloud-native solutions, and enterprise integration.
• Experience driving Agile delivery across multiple technical workstreams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior technical leaders.
