FLT VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) and Counterbalance Drivers / Warehouse Operatives required in Barnsley S75!

Shift availability

Night shift-

Pay: £17.61 per hour.
Shifts: Sunday - Thursday 10pm-6am

Please note both a valid (not expired) VNA Forklift Licence and a valid Counterbalance Licence are essential for this role.

FLT Driver - we are looking for drivers who have at least a few months experience on both FLT VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) and Counterbalance trucks and are able to present training certificate/licences.

The Role:

You ll operate/ work inside the warehouse operating MHE (Such as VNA, Counterbalance, LLOP and PPT) to support the production side of the business producing timber products. The day would consist of picking orders, dealing with stock, operating VNA and counterbalance trucks and working closely with the machine operators. Candidates would start their development onsite by working on LLOP trucks as part of a 2 person team, working within the picking department which then will give you an excellent understanding of the layout of the warehouse, and also a clear understanding of the products the site works with.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate FLT safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload goods.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately.
• Maintain stock control and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Requirements

• Valid FLT licence (Counterbalance and VNA and experience.
• Previous warehouse experience (minimum 1 year preferred).
• Ability to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Good attention to detail and time management skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items when required.
