Class 2F Building Control Surveyor
North London
Up to £75 per hour (DOE)
Rolling Contract 36 Hours per Week
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Class 2F Registered Building Inspector to join a busy Local Authority Building Control team in North London on a long-term rolling contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established team, managing a varied caseload of residential and commercial developments while ensuring compliance with the Building Regulations and maintaining the highest standards of public safety.
The Role
Carry out site inspections across a range of building projects.
Assess plans and applications for compliance with Building Regulations.
Provide technical advice and guidance to applicants, developers and internal stakeholders.
Support the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused Building Control service.
Ensure work is carried out in accordance with current legislation and Building Safety Regulator requirements.
Requirements
Registered Building Inspector - Class 2F
Proven Building Control experience within a Local Authority or Registered Building Control Approver.
Strong technical knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Full UK driving licence is desirable.
