Maths Lecturer

• Location: London South East
• Job Type: Full-time
• Salary: £26.01 PAYE (£30 per hour Umbrella)
• Interview Date: Friday 10th July, between 9 am - 12 midday
• Start Date: Wednesday 19th August (flexibility in start will be considered)

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Maths Lecturer to deliver high-quality education in Maths from Entry to GCSE level. Day-to-day of the role:

• Teach Maths to students of varying abilities from Entry Level to GCSE.
• Work closely with the Curriculum Manager to expand and develop the department.
• Inspire students using your industry experience and academic knowledge.
• Participate in marketing events and promote the Maths curriculum area.
• Maintain accurate student records and perform administrative duties to support effective teaching.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Right to Work in the UK without restrictions on hours.
• Teaching qualification (PGCE, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, or equivalent).
• Minimum of two years post-qualification teaching experience in UK secondary, further education, sixth form, academy, or alternative provision settings.
• Proven ability to teach GCSE Maths; Functional Skills experience at Entry Level 3 is desirable.
• Relevant subject-specific qualification in Mathematics.
• Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
• Efficient administration skills for maintaining student records.
