Academics are recruiting on behalf of a school based in Berkhamsted who are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join its dedicated and supportive team. SEN Teaching Assistant - Berkhamsted

Start Date: September (with the opportunity to start sooner, subject to satisfactory onboarding checks)
Pay: 475- 520 per week (paid weekly) depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, long-term with the opportunity to go permanent
Progression: Teacher training opportunities available

About the Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD and speech, language and communication needs
• Support pupils to access the curriculum, build confidence and develop independence
• Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO and external professionals to implement tailored support strategies
• Assist with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and contribute to pupil progress
• Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Receive ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills
