Sutton Recruitment are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established food manufacturing company based in Driffield, East Yorkshire, recruiting Food Production Operatives to support their busy production period from June through to December 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for ongoing work within a clean and professional food production environment. Full training will be provided, making this role suitable for candidates with previous factory experience as well as those looking to start a career in food manufacturing.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am – 4:00pm

Pay Rate

• £12.71 per Hour

The Role

As a Food Production Operative, you will play an important part in ensuring products are prepared, packed and produced to the highest standards.

Your duties will include:

• Working on a busy food production line

• Packing and preparing food products ready for dispatch

• Carrying out quality checks and ensuring products meet company standards

• Following production procedures and work instructions

• Completing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

• Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health and safety standards at all times

What We're Looking For

• We are looking for candidates who are:

• Reliable, punctual and committed to attending work

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment

• Able to complete repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy

• Have good hand skills and manual dexterity

• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Positive and willing to learn

• Have good communication skills in English

• Previous experience within food manufacturing, production, packing, warehouse or factory environments is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
