We are seeking a dedicated School Behaviour Support Assistant to join a supportive school in East London, working with children who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour.

Based in Tower Hamlets, you will work closely with pupils, teachers, and pastoral staff to create a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed.

Your responsibilities will include building positive relationships with pupils, supporting behaviour management strategies, delivering targeted interventions, promoting emotional regulation, and helping children develop confidence and resilience. The successful School Behaviour Support Assistant will be patient, calm, and proactive, with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEMH and challenging behaviour. Previous experience in education, youth work, care, or behaviour support is beneficial but not essential, as ongoing education and training will be provided.
