Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bulk Earthworks Foreman to join a leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractor delivering a major highways infrastructure scheme in Perth, Scotland.

Working on one of Scotland's flagship infrastructure projects, you'll oversee large-scale earthworks operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

Responsibilities

Supervise bulk earthworks operations including cut and fill, embankments and capping layers.

*

Coordinate site teams, plant operators and subcontractors.

*

Ensure works are delivered in line with programme and quality requirements.

*

Oversee drainage, haul roads and associated civil engineering works.

*

Carry out daily briefings and promote a strong health and safety culture.

*

Monitor productivity and allocate labour and plant efficiently.

*

Work closely with Engineers and Site Management to resolve site issues.

*

Ensure inspections, records and quality documentation are completed.

*

Maintain compliance with environmental and company procedures.

*

Support the successful delivery of a major highways infrastructure project.

Requirements

*

Previous experience as a Foreman on bulk earthworks or major highways projects.

*

Strong knowledge of earthworks, heavy plant operations and civil engineering construction.

*

Experience supervising direct labour and subcontractors.

*

Good understanding of health, safety and quality standards.

*

SSSTS or SMSTS.

*

CSCS Card.

*

Full UK Driving Licence.
