Aspire People is recruiting enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to work in a welcoming primary school in GAINSBOROUGH from September.This rewarding role offers the opportunity to work either as a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant, supporting children with additional needs, or as a General Classroom Teaching Assistant, helping to create an engaging and positive learning environment for all pupils.The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will: Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons. Provide 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), following individual learning and support plans where required. Assist with whole-class activities and provide small-group interventions. Encourage pupils' academic, social, and emotional development. Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, nurturing classroom environment. Monitor pupil progress and communicate effectively with teaching staff. Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support successful learning outcomes.We Are Looking ForWe welcome applications from candidates with a variety of backgrounds, including: Teaching Assistants with previous school experience. Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualified candidates. Recent Teaching Assistant course graduates looking to gain classroom experience. Care workers or support workers with experience supporting vulnerable children, young people, or adults. Graduates considering a future career in education. Anyone with transferable skills and a genuine passion for supporting children.Essential Qualities A caring, patient, and positive approach. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
