A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Camden is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2026 on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Early Years teacher to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking school that is committed to providing an exceptional start to every child's education. The successful candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment where children can develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

The successful candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Have experience teaching within EYFS, ideally in a Reception class

Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and early child development

Deliver creative, engaging, and play-based learning opportunities

Be confident assessing children's progress and planning to meet individual learning needs

Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

Have high expectations for children's learning, behaviour, and wellbeing

The role will involve:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum

Supporting children's early communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal development

Completing observations and assessments to monitor progress

Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment

Working closely with the Early Years team to provide outstanding provision for all children
