Position: Quality Engineering Lead (Test Lead) - Software Engineering

Employment Type: Contract( Inside IR35)

Location: Leeds, UK(Hybrid 3-days in a week)Job Overview & Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and support a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and embed quality throughout the application lifecycle.

Apply functional and business knowledge to architect end-to-end testing strategies, establishing key quality metrics to effectively evaluate test execution and defect resolution.

Serve as a subject matter expert, driving cross-functional collaboration, contributing to high-level decisions, and providing solutions to complex problems across multiple teams.

Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Test Automation and Test Management, specifically ensuring the efficient use of the Playwright test automation framework and leveraging agentic capabilities to optimize delivery.

Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, champion the adoption of emerging technologies, analyze testing outcomes, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders to inform decision-making.

Possess suggested proficiency in testing processes, quality improvement, and the retail industry vertical.Required Skillsets: Retail, Playwright TypeScript, JIRA/Zephyr
