An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated KS1 teacher to join our Outstanding 2-form entry primary school in Romford from September 2026.

We are seeking an enthusiastic KS1 teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning, inspiring young minds and helping every child achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

Plan and deliver engaging, creative and effective lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners

Assess, monitor and evaluate pupil progress accurately

Use assessment data to inform planning and raise attainment

Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils

Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement and attendance

Support pupils' personal, social and emotional development

Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and school leaders

Build strong partnerships with parents and carers

Contribute to curriculum development and wider school initiatives

Participate fully in school events, meetings and professional development activities

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a teacher who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Has a strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum

Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and subject knowledge

Has high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour

Is committed to continuous professional education and training

Possesses excellent communication and organisational skills

Is reflective, motivated and eager to develop professionally

Works effectively as part of a collaborative team

Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
