Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the 16+ Young People Service (CIC & LAC) for Croydon Council.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of Children in Care (CIC) and Looked After Children (LAC) aged 16+.
Undertake statutory visits, assessments, care planning, and pathway planning to support young people preparing for adulthood.
Build effective relationships with young people, carers, families, and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
Support young people with education, employment, training, accommodation, health, and independence planning.
Prepare high-quality assessments, reports, care plans, and court documentation where required.
Participate in statutory reviews and ensure all case records are maintained accurately and within timescales.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with relevant legislation, policies, and best practice guidance.

Working Pattern:
Hybrid working.

Pay Rate:
39.04 p/h Umbrella.

Essential Requirements:
Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent.
Social Work England Registration.
Minimum 3 years experience within Childrens Social Care.
Experience working with Children in Care (CIC), Looked After Children (LAC), Leaving Care, or 16+ Young People.
Thorough knowledge of relevant childrens legislation, safeguarding procedures, care planning, and statutory guidance.
