Are you an experienced Stores Operative or Warehouse Operative with forklift experience? Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where accuracy, teamwork and organisation are essential?

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Stores Operative to join a busy logistics team supporting a major engineering and manufacturing operation in Goole.

You'll play an important role in ensuring materials are received, stored and distributed efficiently to support production. Working within a busy warehouse environment, you'll be responsible for stock control, material movements, inventory accuracy and maintaining high standards of health and safety.

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm / 2:00pm - 10:00pm (Rotating)

• Friday: 6:00am - 2:00pm / 12:00pm - 6:00pm (Rotating)

• Receive and unload incoming deliveries safely.

• Check goods against delivery documentation for accuracy and quality.

• Book materials into stock using SAP.

• Pick, pack and issue materials to production teams.

• Replenish line-side stock locations.

• Process stock movements between warehouse locations.

• Carry out stock checks and inventory audits.

• Complete warehouse documentation accurately.

• Conduct routine safety checks on racking and warehouse equipment.

• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and support a safe working environment.

• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse and logistics processes.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience working within a warehouse, stores or logistics environment.

• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence.

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Pivot Steer Forklift experience.

• Experience using SAP, Maximo or similar warehouse management systems.

• Previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
