Interim School Finance Manager
Location: London
Contract: Immediate start for 3 months
Pay: Daily Rate
We are supporting a provider of Special Education to recruit for an interim Finance Manager. They are looking for someone to join them immediately for 3 months, paid on a daily rate. They are open to hybrid working models.
As Finance Manager, you will:
Lead and develop the central finance team.
Provide strategic financial advice to senior leaders.
Manage trust-wide budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
Produce consolidated management accounts and financial returns.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and statutory requirements.
Support payroll, cash flow, procurement and audit processes.
Drive continuous improvement across finance systems and internal controls.
Work closely with school leaders and budget holders to support effective financial planning.
About You:
We're looking for someone who has:
A recognised professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA, ICAEW or equivalent).
Multi-Academy Trust experience
Experience managing complex budgets and leading finance teams.
Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
A collaborative leadership style and commitment to continuous improvement.
