We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Runcorn. This is a full-time, temporary position with the potential to become a longer-term opportunity for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be an Upper Key Stage 2 specialist, committed to delivering high-quality teaching and helping pupils achieve their full potential.

About the Role

Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons for an Upper Key Stage 2 class.

Create a positive, inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.

Assess, monitor and support pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.

Prepare pupils for the transition to secondary education through high-quality teaching and effective classroom practice.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to promote positive outcomes for every child.

Uphold high standards of behaviour, safeguarding and wellbeing throughout the school day.What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential).

Experience teaching within Upper Key Stage 2.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and effective assessment practices.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
