Job Description

We are currently looking for a Multi-Trade Operative to work on a social housing maintenance contract covering the Leeds area for a well-established housing maintenance contractor.

This opportunity is with a respected maintenance provider delivering repairs and maintenance works to tenanted social housing properties. We're looking for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative with a strong all-round skillset (excluding plumbing) who is available to start as soon as possible on an ongoing temporary contract.

I'd be keen to speak to anyone with experience working within social housing, repairs or property maintenance, whether you've previously worked as a Multi-Trade Operative, Carpenter, Joiner, Maintenance Operative, Handyperson or in a similar role.

As a Multi-Trade Operative, you will be:

• Carrying out day-to-day repairs and maintenance within tenanted social housing properties
• Completing a range of multi-trade works including joinery, patch plastering, painting, basic tiling and general repairs
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard with minimal disruption to tenants
• Working across properties throughout the Leeds area
• Managing your workload efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service

I'd love to speak to anyone who has:

• Proven experience as a Multi-Trade Operative within repairs and maintenance
• Previous experience working within social housing (desirable)
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• The ability to work independently and deliver high-quality workmanship
• Availability to start as soon as possible

This Multi-Trade Operative role is offering the following benefits:

• 20 - 21 per hour
• Weekly pay (CIS payments available)
• Ongoing temporary contract
• Standard Monday to Friday working hours
• Immediate start available

Location & Travel
The role covers Leeds only, working across tenanted social housing properties. Candidates must have access to their own vehicle. Travel between properties is expected throughout the day, although journeys are generally kept to a minimum.
