Graduate Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)

Salary: 100 - 105 per day

Aspire People are recruiting on behalf of one of our valued partner primary schools in Leicester for an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Teaching Assistant.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching or education. Working within a supportive and welcoming primary school, you will play an important role in helping pupils achieve their full potential while developing your own skills and experience.

The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and the wider school team to support pupils across the primary age range, delivering both classroom and small-group support.

Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Provide one-to-one and small group intervention support to pupils.
Assist in preparing classroom resources and learning activities.
Encourage positive behaviour and promote an engaging learning environment.
Support pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development.
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils.

Requirements:
A minimum 2:1 undergraduate degree is essential.
Previous experience working with children is desirable, whether in a school, tutoring, coaching, childcare, or voluntary setting.
Availability to work full-time (Monday to Friday).
A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Enthusiastic, hardworking, reliable, and proactive.
Patient, adaptable, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
A professional attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
