Warehouse Operative

14 per hour

Yorkshire, LS25

Proactive are urgently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a brand-new warehouse facility based in LS25.

This is a physically demanding role suited to individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be responsible for unloading deliveries, moving stock throughout the warehouse, and ensuring goods are stored safely and efficiently. The role involves manual handling and the use of push/pull equipment

Role Details:

• Location: LS25, Yorkshire
• Contract: Temporary
• Pay rate: 14 per hour
• Hours: Monday to Friday
• Shift Timings: 08:00 - 16:00 or 09:00 - 17:00
• Breaks - 10-minute break every hour

30-minute lunch break

Key Responsibilities :

• Load and unload deliveries.
• Offload goods and transport them to designated storage areas.
• Move stock throughout the warehouse using manual handling equipment.
• Pick, sort and organise products.
• Operate the AutoStore warehouse system (training will be provided if required).
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.

Candidate Requirements :

• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting throughout the shift.
• Comfortable with repetitive manual handling, including pushing and pulling loads.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience using an AutoStore system would be a strong advantage.
