Teaching Assistant - Secondary School (Flexible/Cover Support)

We are actively seeking adaptable and confident Teaching Assistants to join our team, providing support across various secondary schools. This flexible role is perfect for individuals who are capable of working in different classes and subjects, adapting quickly to new school environments.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide general classroom support across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
• Assist with behaviour management and student engagement to maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Support small groups or individual students with tailored assistance as needed.
• Quickly adapt to new school environments and effectively integrate with different teaching teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working with young people, particularly of secondary school age.
• Confident, adaptable, and reliable personality, able to handle various classroom settings.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students and staff.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, enhancing their educational experience.

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a school setting.
